Captain Moroni

The man who tore his coat and made it a flag.

Captain Moroni was a young military commander who cared less about winning battles than about why his people were fighting at all. When his nation was close to tearing itself apart, he tore his own coat instead, wrote on it what mattered most to him, and raised it on a pole where everyone could see it. People came running.
