Moroni the Record Keeper

The last one left, still writing.

Everyone he knew was gone. He had a record in his hands and no reason to believe anyone would ever read it — so he wrote to whoever would, some day, and then he buried it. He is the reason the book exists. Note: this is a different person from Captain Moroni, who lived centuries earlier.
